Bikram Yoga Sutherland Shire, Australian Yoga Asana Champion
Nathan Dennett has been a long practitioner of various yoga styles before landing on Bikram Yoga, which healed many issues of the body and mind for him. After only 18months of this healing practice he competed in the first Australian Yoga Asana Championships and continued until he won the Men’s Division- in this period representing Australia 3 times at the international level, where he now serves as a registered judge.
From humble beginnings as a Primary School teacher, not only does he teach in the classroom, he now brings yoga into NSW schools with his good humour and fun style while providing a great role model for the youth of today. The feedback has been amazing and he looks forward to providing more yoga to as many students as possible!
Nathan believes that anybody and any body can do yoga- if we starts with the youth of today, then tomorrow there will be plenty of well-adjusted adults in control of a good rounded fitness routine based on an ancient knowledge dealing with rigorous breath work, a healthy body and a vigorous mind.
Bikram Yoga is the original hot yoga. It is a precise series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises, practiced for 90 minutes in a room heated to 40 degrees C with 40% humidity. The Bikram Yoga series is designed to create optimal physical and emotional health and is suitable for students of all ages, abilities and states of health. This session isn’t heated but join us for a taste of Bikram.
