Josie started practicing yoga 12 years ago, looking for some stillness in a busy world and an alternative treatment for her sciatica. This sent her on a wonderful, challenging and rewarding journey, during which she not only started healing her body but also her mind.
In 2014 she trained to become a Hatha yoga teacher through Qi Yoga in Sydney. Since then, she has developed her interest in deep healing by completing her Yoga Nidra & Stress Management Teacher Training. Josie now continues her studies in Yoga Therapy at Adore Yoga.
For Josie, yoga is like coming home. In her personal practice she focuses on the body-mind connection, working with flowing movement, breathing techniques, meditation, sanskalpas (intentions) and the subtle energies of the body. However, she doesn’t follow an ‘one size fits all’ approach, but believes in creating an individualised practice that serves your body and mind.
When working with Josie, you will experience a kind, non-competitive and safe environment, in which you will work to break down the barriers that get in the way of living life to its full potential.
